Onwelo and Symmetria Partners begin cooperation on AI: from readiness assessment to working solutions

Warsaw, 27.08.2026, Onwelo, a Polish technology company, and Symmetria Partners, an advisory firm working with management boards on strategy, finance and AI, have started a partnership. The two companies will cooperate across the full path of an AI project: Symmetria Partners assesses whether an organization is ready and where AI will create value, and Onwelo builds, integrates, and runs the solutions.

The cooperation responds to a recurring situation in companies that want to use AI. Boards approve a budget, teams run pilots, and the results stay in the pilot phase. The reasons are usually not the models themselves: unclear ownership of the process, data that is not prepared for automated decisions, and no rules for how AI is used and controlled.

The two companies cover different parts of that problem. Symmetria Partners assesses organizational readiness for AI in five areas: strategy, data and processes, people and culture, governance, and technology, and translates the result into board-level decisions. Onwelo delivers the technical side: data platforms, integration with existing systems, data and analytics, intelligent automation, and ongoing support after go-live.

Clients working with both companies get one path from decision to production, with a single set of assumptions. The readiness assessment defines the priorities and the rules; the implementation follows them, instead of starting the discussion again at the technical stage.

“Most AI projects don’t fail on the technology. They fall over because nobody decided who owns the process, what the data is allowed to be used for, and how the result will be checked,”

said Anna Gliwińska, Managing Partner at Symmetria Partners.

“We answer those questions with the board before anything is built. Working with Onwelo means the answers are then implemented by a team that has delivered systems in regulated environments, so our recommendations do not stop at the report stage; they end up in production.”

“Our clients rarely ask us for a model. They ask us to reduce the cost of a process, shorten a decision cycle, or take work off people who are needed elsewhere,”

said Bartosz Czyż, CEO at Onwelo.

“Symmetria Partners does the part that decides whether such a project succeeds: it prepares the organization, the data and the governance. We build and run what follows. Together we can take responsibility for the whole path — and that is what our clients are actually buying.”

In the first phase, the companies will cooperate on joint client projects and publish shared material on preparing organizations for AI, covering governance, data quality, change management, and leadership capability building.
