In May, we organized free bot-building workshops. We invited final year students of business, IT and technical faculties. The event was attended by 11 persons. The next stage of the RPA Academy was a three-month internship at our company, to which we also invited persons who had participated in the workshops. The internship was completed by Agata, Ernest, Kalina, Kuba and Łukasz, who now work as Junior Intelligent Automation Specialists at Onwelo.

Participants of the 3-month internship took part in training courses of selected RPA technology providers. They also became familiar with Onwelo’s project approach and the documentation of our solutions.

My adventure with Onwelo and RPA started during the RPA Academy workshops. Automation and artificial intelligence got me so interested that I soon joined the Intelligent Automation team as an intern. I am very happy with the work and cooperation with the team. At Onwelo, I have gained many skills – both professional and interpersonal – says Agata, Junior Intelligent Automation Specialist.

The interns took part in mentoring sessions during which our experts shared their knowledge and experience with regard to industry-related matters as well as team cooperation and Onwelo’s organizational culture.

During that time, I have become acquainted with one of the leading RPA technologies and had an opportunity to see project implementation in practice. The work of the team of interns resulted in creating bots based on our standards. These excellent results prove that both interns and mentors treated the project seriously and with a lot of engagement. The five interns were offered permanent cooperation with Onwelo at the position of Junior Intelligent Automation Specialist. This is a great success of the RPA Academy!

Mentors agree that participation in the RPA Academy was a valuable experience, enabling them to reinforce both their industry knowledge and training skills. Moreover, the entire team was involved in project coordination, which additionally improved its organizational skills and cooperation.

We plan to organize further editions of workshops and internships in future. The experience gained during the first edition will enable us to effectively organize other interesting initiatives as part of the RPA Academy.
