Onwelo receives Polish Intelligent Development Award

The award aims to popularise innovative solutions leading to sustainable development for Poland. The Forum is organised by the Centre for Intelligent Development. The major partner in the event is the Silesian Centre for Business Ethics and Sustainable Development. The editorial team behind Rzecz o Innowacjach [Innovations], which is published in Puls Biznesu and Rzeczpospolitais the award’s media partner.

The award was presented in five categories: research institutions, universities, innovative companies, councils and local authorities, and municipal companies.

The winners were selected for investments they had carried out using European Union funds, domestic funds or funds from their own budgets, with particular account taken of the implementation of innovative solutions and care and attention devoted to research and development.

One of Onwelo’s award-winning solutions is OnTax, which is an analytics platform that automates reporting and so makes it possible for companies and institutions to quickly adapt to the obligation to send information in electronic form (SAF-T) to the Ministry of Finance.

Onwelo’s second commendation was for the Big Data anti-fraud platform, which automates abuse-detection in companies and institutions and offers more options than existing anti-fraud systems. Big Data offers a more complete and innovative approach to combatting abuses.

The award ceremony is scheduled for autumn 2017.
