Firm attractive for employees – this is the Onwelo way

The ambitious recruitment plans are dictated by Onwelo’s very rapid growth. The company’s successes are strengthening its position on the global IT market. Last year the company opened a branch in the USA, and it is planning to open further offices in the west of Europe and the Middle East. In Poland in 2016, Onwelo opened software development centres in Kraków, Warsaw, Katowice and Wrocław.

“In formulating our recruitment policy we analysed the needs of the people on the labour market. Based on this we devised a strategy that will enable our employees to shape the growth direction of the company and enjoy continuous professional development with access to the very latest technology. We also want to ensure that there is a balance between professional and private life” – said Onwelo co-founder Piotr Reichert.

Onwelo employees can expect secure employment, attractive remuneration, and additional benefits such as healthcare, life insurance and a Multisport card. Acquiring knowledge from longer serving colleagues based on a mentor-pupil relationship, in-house and external training sessions, and participating in international projects, including in the USA, Germany, Belgium and the Benelux countries, will all serve to ensure the professional development of Onwelo team members.

Working at Onwelo means comfortable conditions in fully-equipped offices that have been designed and outfitted according to the company’s requirements. They are distinguished by a unique design which, while lending the company a distinct identity and making for a creative atmosphere, also ensures that there is space to work, meet and relax. A special induction programme for new employees, celebrating successes together and the continuous attention paid to the individual development of each employee (evaluations, training programme) are also conducive to creating the right conditions and atmosphere. It is also important – and this is inscribed and embedded in the company culture – to appreciate and value commitment and success, friendly relationships and acting together as a team.

We try to get our employees involved in social initiatives, such as organising company events together, exchanging knowledge, CSR activity and ensuring equal employment opportunities no matter where you live, which means making it possible for people from all over Poland to join us by working remotely. We also support employees with relocation and in finding apartments in the places where project work is being carried out – said Onwelo co-founder Dariusz Ossowski.

A further vital element in Onwelo’s operating philosophy is guaranteeing employees the opportunity to develop their careers. They can be sure of personalised development (career path and training is arranged in cooperation with the mentor), flexible working hours, a variety of employment forms (B2B contract, standard employment contract) and mobility, including remote working, task-based working and work at the customer’s premises.

“Thanks to the company’s multi-level recruitment strategy and organisational culture, our employees can get a lot of satisfaction from their work while also enjoying the leeway to develop professionally and socially, which will allow them to maintain a life-work balance. We are continuously striving to improve this strategy so that we can make an even better match between our offer and the needs of employees. This is very important to us, because satisfied and motivated employees are the motor force of our company – said the Onwelo co-founders.
